We have a wide range of scout badges at OTB. With ceramics as the backbone of the studio, many of our programs are focused in merry mud making projects such as clay building or wheel throwing, or pottery painting a piece of our shelves!

Ready to book a badge?

  • min 6 - max 30 painters

    duration: 90 min

    cost: $50 + pottery package

    ages 5+

    This is a great options for troops looking to let their scouts pick their own project and hang out with their friends while painting. Work will be ready for pick-up 1-2 weeks later and ALL WORK will need to be picked up by the troop leader to hand out to the scouts on their own.

    POTTERY PACKAGES:

    Fun size: 3-4" simple figurines: $16 per painter

    Classic: Our most popular package! 4 - 5" medium pottery: $22 per painter

    Advanced: Best for older kids & teens. Access to our larger figurines: $26 per painter

  • Build a ceramic piece using the best tools you have; your hands! Anything you can think up we can make when hand building! Work will be ready for pick-up or glazing approx 4 weeks later and ALL WORK will need to be picked up by the troop leader to hand out to the scouts on their own.

    base price: $250 (covers group fee and up to 8 scouts. Add $22-30 per additional scout based on below price amount)

    CLAY PACKAGES:

    Fairy houses: $30 per maker

    Trinket dish: $22 per maker

    Garden Gnome Door: $25 per maker

    Name Plaques: $24 per maker

    Nature Impressions: $25 per maker

    Seasonal projects or one of your choosing (snowmen, pumpkins, easter eggs, ex): prices vary, just email us!

    GLAZING OPTIONS:

    Cost includes not only the first firing but the glaze firing (the color.) We suggest using the opportunity to glaze their work as a second bonus project that the girls can either do as a group during a future troop meeting, or individually stop in on their own time to apply color to their piece. Glaze will take another 1-2 weeks to fire. Alternatives are to use regular acrylic paint they have at home to decorate..

    -Returning as a group larger than 10 scouts: Flat fee of $20 for your visit on any day

    -Groups smaller than 10 or individually: Free!

  • Get ready to get muddy during our pottery wheel throwing badge! Work will be ready for pick-up or glazing approx 4 weeks later and ALL WORK will need to be picked up by the troop leader to hand out to the scouts on their own.
